This course will enable you to:

  • Understand the components of the Jaspersoft product suite and Architecture
  • Design and test reports in iReport, including reporting elements such as charts, images, sub-reports and crosstabs
  • Host and maintain reports in JasperServer
  • Set up and customize ad hoc reporting in JasperServer
  • Design Domains and secure Domain data
  • Design Dashboards
  • Modify the JasperServer UI
  • Understand how third party tools can be integrated with JasperServer
  • Understand how JasperServer's web service API can remotely execute/schedule a report and create/manage users
  • Set up and configure a JasperETL project and job
  • Understand the basic concepts of a data warehouse
  • Create business analysis tools using JasperAnalysis

Pre-Requisites:
  • Database/SQL knowledge
  • Some experience with an object oriented programming language, preferable Java
  • Some familiarity with editing XML and HTML files
  • Knowledge of a Java application server such as Tomcat is a plus
