Cincom Selects JasperSoft Corporation to Power Business Intelligence for all Software Offerings

Strategic Software Partnership Leverages Open Source BI as Reporting and Analytics Standard

San Francisco - April 8, 2008 - JasperSoft, the market leader in open source business intelligence (BI), today announced that worldwide software provider Cincom Systems, Inc. has selected the JasperSoft Business Intelligence Suite to power all Cincom BI applications. Cincom will standardize on JasperSoft as its business intelligence platform across its software offerings, extending the value of BI and reporting to all Cincom customers.

Cincom first joined the JasperSoft open source BI community through JasperForge.org, JasperSoft’s community developer site, using JasperSoft’s Community Edition products and contributing code to enhance mainframe data access capabilities in the JasperSoft Business Intelligence Suite. These contributions were incorporated into the JasperSoft product family and ultimately became part of the core product line.

The partnership continued to grow well beyond the original engineering work, resulting in a commercial relationship delivering scalable, embeddable BI technology for Cincom’s customers. Now using the JasperSoft Professional Edition product line—including JasperServer Professional and JasperAnalysis Professional—Cincom is embedding, customizing and extending business intelligence into its database management solutions, contact center solutions and all BI applications at a fraction of the cost of proprietary BI solutions.
